Covid, epigenetics and how it impacts the immune system

Maria has a PhD in Biology with summa cum laude from Freiburg University and is now an associate Professor in Medical Microbiology at LiU since 2009. At the moment she and her research group are trying to find explanations for how epigenetic changes of our immune system can make us resistant towards tuberculosis and other infectious diseases.
